Dear BJP/CONG you said #AskKejri - here are your answers

Today #AskKejri was trending on twitter with some valid questions and other silly questions. I thought i will spend answering these. I have tried my best to answer the questions here. Took me around 7 hours.

Most of the answers came directly to my mind. And many after doing research.

This article is intended to start an environment where questions are answered and not evaded (Like how its done by people in BJP and Congress)

Also, I believe this article will diminish the propoganda created by BJP/Cong supporters against AAP.

Enjoy!

Arvind Kejriwal asking Dr. Harshvardhan to submit proof was a witty remark (taken with much less humour across), for question asked by a reporter citing Dr. Harshvardhan asking action against Shiela Dhikshit, infact on the first day of assembly (but not on BJP's MCD).

The speech cited in the first part of the video, where Kejriwal cites 360 pages "proof", contains mainly of news paper articles and clippings which could have been worth to start an investigation (much less a winning case). Since coming to power, Delhi's vigilance unit has been going through overhaul - as it had mere 40+ staff - which may not be enough to pull up cases. Secondly, a lot of documents might have gone missing or in fact destroyed by now. To start a case, and to make it go through court - anybody starts with an intent to win it, not just to file it. Hence I believe the whole work on the vigilance department is in process to put up a strong case for CWG corruption.

This video will give you some idea>

Also this one to expand your knowledge about kejriwal who's been working for people in slums long before we were not even talking about corruption etc! >>

Dear sir, i do not think that Kejriwal asks for Bharat Ratna. Like people in BJPCONG do.

Moreover, corruption had gone down in Delhi during his rule. And your claim that during his regime gang-rapes increased is completely fascist!

Is Modiji Ran away from Gujarat CMship? Is he not fighting Lok Sabha elections? What kind of logic is that? After 20th Feb, there was Achar Samhita and anyway Kejriwal would have time to campaign. So this is an absurd logic that he quit because of that!

BJP IS THE REAL BHAGODA!>>
The great BJP od Delhi had 32 seats. Along with 2 independent candidates, + Binny. But BJP is still shying away from forming the govt.

Who's Bhagoda?
It takes guts to run a minority govt. Which Kejriwal did inspire of his belief that he never wanted to take support from Congress. he did so because people wanted him to do it! It was public demand!

And he is not a traitor that he will keep his personal benefits first!

Talking about why he resigned :>>
Without having a stronger anti-graft law. The cases against Commonwealth Games And Sheila Dixit would run in court for years. Like in cases of Laloo, Kalmadi , A Raja etc. And he has gone their to do work!

If he was running away, why would he be fighting elections again? do u have an answer for that?

Also, for your general knowledge. I must tell your that after his resignation :
  • - DONATIONS increased upto 700% on AAP website.
  • - As much as 67% people said that he did the right thing by resigning.
By abusing him and calling him bhagoda. you re disrespecting the mandate of as much as 67% of Delhi voters.

Grow up! Don't oppose everything blatantly. Its not only harmful for your BJP but also for the country.

It was a FAKE string Operation. Not a single penny was taken. Even election commission issued a notice regarding the same. Watch this video and at least don't deny the truth!

What more do you want him to say? If hiding my donation source is not corruption. I don't know what in the world is!

Chalo aapne ye to maana ki Umda hai AK. It he acting or not? Public knows! And Support in haryana Prooved that AK is not acting but speaking for Aam Aadmi, who's pissed off by orthodox politics!

Again, making fun of health!?

BTW, you would not know AK is suffering from Diabetes?

He is putting his health at stake by getting into all this. You probably want to ignore these facts and keep on abusing him.

But that's not good Karma. Sorry!

<

Are trends an indication of losing or winning? Kejriwal Gives 10 times more interviews than Modi. He faces questions. Tough questions and answers with full conviction! That's how politicians should be.

This subsidy is given to people of Delhi, reliance is not getting any extra money. Do you even realize this? The benefit goes to the poor.

AK met many people during campaigns. Muslims, auto walas, Sikhs, but unfortunately you guys only had eyes on his statements about Muslims. He went to temples too! You just ignored that!

Btw, AK has respected the decision of court in this. And you must also be aware that there are as much as 500 of fake encounter cases in India. You don't seem to know the fact that to make a fake encounter look real sometimes co-officers kill policemen. Too.

Here is a video to educate you in this issue>

Another one

Are all encounters fake? Certainly NO!

But no one can deny the fact that politicians stage these encounters to score political points. And fake Encounters are a sad state of affairs in India which needs to be discussed!

Many police men lose their lives to make a staged encounter look real! So,?

What do u have to say about Fake encounters? Do they not happen in India? Do u know that the case AK was referring was pending in court and was allegedly fake at the time when AK said. Once, court said that encounter was okay. AK respected that decision. And you should now stop politicizing it!

Certainly, no! Anyone can become a member of the party, but important positions will be given only to people with clean backgrounds.

I hope BJP does the same with Yeddyurappa and come in competition with AAP!

EXACTLY! BJP and CONGRESS came together to call it unconstitutional! Here watch this video where experts also believe the same

Well, you ve no option but listen to this because your BJP does not show its donation sources like AAP does on AAPTrends.in

And here are some proofs for you, found just doing a simple google search>>>

These are conservative estimates.

Sorry for inconvenience> Actually, AAP does nt have lot of money to buy satellite equipment and multi camera shots. Someone from the crowd only sent this image u can see here.

Happy??

Why are You asking questions to Kejriwal? Are you Congress's agent?

Visit AAPTRENDS.IN  and you will know how many patriots are donating for AAP.

Raising questions when people are hiding their donation sources. IS MY BIRTH RIGHT! And there is nothing wrong in that!

And this is just a partial list! happy?

Here is an article with detailed answer on how much AAP has gone to courts

And we all know that in current system Kalmadi, A raja, Laloo, Kanimozi are all out! There is not much point in going to the courts unless there are stronger laws. And that's the reason precisely why AAP is formed.

To change politics!

Firstly, You ve no proof against Anjali Damaniya that she's corrupt. Secondly,

PLEASE HAVE A LOOK IN THIS VIDEO WHERE GADKARI SAYS THERE IS NO PLACE FOR HONEST IN POLITICS

Mr Gadkari believes that if you fight with clean people then you will lose elections! Why are you trying to save such a man?

Living in govt accommodation is not a crime! The problem is that ministers and MLAs MPs splurge and spend millions on these. The idea is to save money and spend only minimum possible.

Kejriwal does not have a house near Delhi secretariat that's why he sought a home for him.

Please remember 150 crore renovation costs by Modiji for his two big bungalows in Gujarat

1 crore renovation was done in these last month. If money like this is saved could be utilized to provide facilities to the poor!

Kejriwal took a 5 room apartment which is given to IRS level officer. You call it too much?

Go to any reliance store and ask how much salary do people get? Reliance is known to exploit people give less salaries.

Then go to any CA and ask him how much theft Ambani do to save tax.

This money does not add to our GDP but goes out in swiss banks. The same issue which baba Ramdev had raised. Today, all of a sudden why has it turned around in a different way for you?

Please don't support crony capitalism, it will hurt all of us in long run!

That's a hypothetical question. But even if we consider it. If there's fire what do u expect? Not say anything just move out quickly and not make people aware?

Raising question and creating awareness is the blood of democracy. Don't try to suck on it!

No, we are most likely to start chai pe kitna kharcha... uska source kaun bharta !  :)

An IRS officer earns around 70-80,ooo rupees salary. One package to Singapore costs 40,000 rupees. Per person. I do not think a trip to Singapore where the family is standing in public place like an AamAadmi much to get alarmed of?

And shall we stop attacking someone's personal life? Would you tomorrow ask him why he bought 2 kg apples? Common!

Experience of what? IN BJP CONGRESS>
Riots, hidden donations, corruption, giving 6 lakh crore subsidy to coporates?
Experience of being son of a political father?

Or AAP>
IAS/IRS officers, ex-Bankers, CEOs, Engineers, Doctors, Lawyers. Such kind of people? in AAP

Kejriwal is not a traitor. He took the decision because WE people wanted him to take it. He is not traitor who will run govt on his personal opinions and beliefs,.

Moreover, it was a minority government. Congress was sitting in opposition. Sitting in opposition is not giving support exactly. We all saw the love of Congress and BJP to stop Janlokpal bill though!

That's the confidence of Congress BJP to fool people of the country!

What he did was in open air, not hiding anything. So get over it! And move on to more important issues.

Nothing wrong. But starting a project by lowering the bid, then delay the project and double the cost of project. Not paying income tax, Dude, that's not allowed!

Do honest business, who's stopping you?

Aam Aadmi is anyone who is clean and makes money through his work/talent and not eating up public money. That's the difference!

He is not negative. He is very optimist. It is the people who were negative about the state of our country! Today, Kejriwal has given us a hope. People today who never attended a single rally are now taking part in politics. What's more optimist than that?

Crores of money is looted in India. India ranks not even in top 100 in many standards. And you say there's nothing to criticize? You need some education!

Even Anna says  Arvind  did not betray me

Its funny how BJP and congress are cooking up stories here.
We all know it was both Cong and BJP who betrayed people by not passing Janlokpal in the center!

So what do you suggest? Let 54000 crores scam happen and 130 crore people of this suffer from price rise?

AAP's Votebank is:
- Dalits,
- people living in slums
- people living in posh areas
- hindus, muslims, sikhs, christians

Today, AAP is only party which has most versatile voter base. And the reason is that politics is done on transperancy and corruption issues.

Its calculated on the basis of guidelines specified by Election commission.

Kejriwal gives more interviews than all BJP and Congress people put together. What more do you want?

So you mean to say Shinde is Aam Aadmi? Lol.

the moment when Kejriwal goes in TV interviews and faces tough questions and gives clear answers. That moment when on one blog most answers are given by AAP members without being unpolite.

What say?

Give up soon? You think with Lokpal stuck in center for years and no corrupted going to jaiol being CM would be of any help?

Yes, its appaling that people are against him. But i hope people will start changing their stand soon.

Silent? He has answered 100000 times. All is accounted for and available on www.aaptrends.inhttp://www.aaptrends.in

Ek jhoot bhi bola?

Kumar Vishwaas is a professional poet and makes lakhs of rupees for doing shows.

There's a difference between IRS and IAS officers. Most IRS officers who were appointed in Delhi were never been transferred. Go and check it.

Nothing yet proved. If proven he will be expelled from AAP.

Terrorists are able to infiltrate our country because internally we are weak. If we have corrupt people we can never develop an information network like US.

Today, corrupts who are running the country are not focusing much on building systems that track down terrorists. That's how US works. (Find videos of ur own Swamyji talking about this). You can't kill people and stop terrorism. If that was the solution then it wud stop long back.

Wait and watch, in some time your observation will change even further.

Remember how Ambani met LG and now the subsidy is taken away, BTW. On one hand BJP accuses of giving Dole to Ambani and on other hand speaks on this. hadh hoti hai self contradiction ki!

Sitting MLAs. You know there are not sitting anymore? Have resigned from office? Not following news properly?

First, the premise that sharing a different stance than status quo makes one a naxal is ridiculous to say the least. By this proposition, there will never be a change.

Remember what BJP said during Anna Movement?. That Anna's movement is peaceful and democratic!

At that time, this movement was pious and "Janta ka Gussa".
Today, (because its shaking your political pillars) it has become
Naxal movement?

Lol!

Bhai, people know the deal with BJP n Congress. Open Myneta.info   People know what kind of candidates BJP has all over India.

Right now Swamy may be saying AAPians are naxals and communists, but with each passing month it will become more and more clear even to him that there is no way out of the current mess, except the agenda that AAP has put up, namely, Jan Lokpal, Swaraj, right to recall, decriminalization of politics, and so on.

AAP's agenda is nobody's private agenda; most democracies are moving in a similar direction, e.g., decentralization of power, steadily; this is the need of the times.

Thus, more and more of the statements that Swamy and other BJPians will make in the coming months will contradict their earlier positions against AAP.

For example, it was casual of Swamy and others to say that AAPians are naxals because they want a different system than the present establishment of CBI under the control of the central government, and that the present system is sufficient to tackle corruption.

Second, many naxals and their supporters are a substantial percent of citizens of India. Does BJP has a plan about how to resolve the naxal issue? Do all of the naxals and their supporters have to be sacrificed for the "greater good"? The truth is complex but classifying people as naxals does nobody a favor.

Third, and most important, Supreme Court judgments recently vindicate AAP's stand, and Swamy himself conceded that CBI is not functioning properly under the current establishment. This is contradictory of his earlier statement about the sufficiency of the current establishment.

After AAP comes into power in Delhi again, which most likely it will, it will demonstrate that it is pro-business and it can facilitate businesses towards higher growth than the mainstream parties. Then, BJPians will have nothing worth speaking about their economic agenda. BJP and Congress must adapt (i.e., adopt AAP's agenda) or risk losing their supporters to AAP on a national scale.

Lol! Got money from American oil companies? Do you have any proof or even a prima facie evidence to prove it?

Kejriwal gives MOST number of interviews! Count how many interviews has Rahul Gandhi done in last year and then compare it with Arvind Kejriwal.

He faces the questions and gives answers. Where there is truth, there is no fear of questions. And Kejriwal is always open to criticism. And ready to answer!

Well, Do you know? Obama and his political party gives details of each and every penny of donations?

Today, Modi spends crores of rupees in his rallies. Where is this money coming from? And then they are also giving undue favours to corporates (and this is an observation made by CAG and not AAP)

Is OBama giving any undue favours to Microsoft? Is Obama hiding his donation sources? NO!
So, your comparison holds no significance.

People were interviewed all over India. If you have a single case of corruption against any of the selected candidates. I promise, that AAP will leave the seat empty but won't let that person go inside!

And yes, whatever candidates are being chosen are done are best considering the time available, resources and other factors. Most people who are connected with AAP do not really care about tickets. They are there because their agenda is work. Its not who's going inside is x or y.

As long as the person going inside has a clean background. We don't have a problem with it. And you should nt either!

The author in the given article assumes that gas price is $4.

And then he accuses Kejriwal ASSUMING that Kejriwal's information is incorrect about the per unit gas prices.

The author is a joker, who started writing the article without doing a fundamental research. He is plainly assuming that costs of the gas are high.

This krishna godaveri basin was the largest discovery of gas in 2002. Reliance gas-find 40 times bigger than Bombay High (Reference)

So at that time, reliance took the area. (More than what was allotted to it, that's illegal in first place) then it is violating the contract which promised that rates wont be changed for another 15 years or so.

Now thegas which was supposed to be 40 times larger than Bombay high. And suppose to provide gas for 100 years. Where has it gone? Vanished somewhere?

Costs calculations

Gas production per day (ref) = 60 million cubic unit

So if we take average of 40 million cubics meters per day.\

40 * 4 = 160$  = 8,300 rupees per day.

Total cost of set up = 7,000 crore rupees

Some interesting points in above presentation:
  • Reliance bid lowest to win the contract, in 2002. at $ 2.34
  • The TRICK of "bid lower" now to win and increase later ;) scam
This is a typical method of winning the contract and later on increasing the price. Is nt that a scam in itself?
  • Similar case in Mumbai Metro
In Mumbai metro project. Reliance did same thing. The project was suppose to cost 1200 crores and now the total cost has went upto 2500 crores citing unforeseen problems.

Today tonnes of public money is wasted in unforeseen problems.

  • Why is it that all these unforeseen problems occur in India only? That too at such a massive scale! In cases related to Gas under the sea and metro constructed on the land!?
  • Is there a lack of foresightedness of reliance engineers? Or a clever planning to win the bid by lower pricing and later on increase the prices? Using political contacts.

  • Why is it that the unforeseen problems are so big that Metro project cost is doubled! not increase by 10-20% And in gas prices has gone from 2.34 per unit to $8 per unit. SUCH A STAGGERING CHANGE! AND You Expect that no questions should be asked? HOW!?

  • Case of irregularity!
This clearly shows that either Ambanis bid very low to win the contract and then later on cite or create reasons and increase rates. A clear indication of irregularity here. Why bid so low if you have to increase prices so much and so often!

  • An investigation unjustified after such a big change?
Even if we may agree for a minute that there really were conditions to increase the price. Is nt it a situation where a thorough investigation should be done to find out is the price hike justified?

  • Govt listens to reliance's problems and allocates funds
Reliance always says, Oh im having cost problems so i want more money. And no matter which govt it is, it happily sanctions the price.

  • Will Govt listen to poor farmer and do the same?
If a common man goes and asks the government to change the price of anything. If a farmer goes and say that this year produce is low. Does govt gives subsidy to that farmer or money to that farmer? NO!!!!

  • Would the government listen? Listen to common men's problems? NO! But always ready to give it to Adani and Ambani!?
  • All this and hiding their donation sources. My friend, its a clear clear indication that

Hope this satisfies your appetite of quest to know Why Kejriwal is raising questions on such huge changes in prices.

Wtf!? Dear brother, let us not stoop so low to defame someone. Do you have any links or proofs to make such a tall claim?

Now don't say that Kejriwal does that too! Firstly, there are evidences to show that whatever questions Kejriwal raised were valid. Secondly, you can't escape from showing a proof by throwing the question on other side.

Kejriwal, gives evidences to whatever he claims. Let us also try to back up our claims with some facts. Also, let us also not into personal attacks. You may dislike Kejriwal  but please do not insult his wife.

By doing that you re disrespecting women and also abusing the pious institution of marriage in our society!

This question is catch-22 logic. You can't form circles to evade an answer. A question must be answered with another answers.

There is always someone benefiting from competitor's fall. Does that mean that we must stop questioning? Or we must start questioning the competitor without having any sort of evidence?

The problem is that you are looking at the issue in a political picture. Not going into the details of the case. You seem to care less about what the prices were, how much gas are found.

You seem to be more concerned with "How much votes will Kejriwal get for bringing this issue into highlight?"

Have you given a thought for a minute how much prices will rise if gas prices are raised?

Well, let us move on from this traditional style of thinking and support a claim for the country's benefit and not just stop it because its benefiting a party or harming your favorite one!

I am sure when you ask this you want to know about his background. Its a fair question and here are some of my answers.

IRS days >
(Please see the video above where ex-IRS senior of AK talks about him). Apart from that I have also heard that Kejriwal once cleaned the drainage outside the office during rain because the sweeper and PEON had nt come.

POST IRS>>
Kejriwal also spend much time with Mother Teresa as a voluneteer and Ramakrishna mission. He is also an active practitioner of Vipassanna meditation.

A man's character is determined by the places he visit, the company he keeps and his actions. These events show (at least to me)  that Kejriwal has empathy for poor like Mother Teresa. He has Vairagya as taught in Vipassana. He has the courage to speak the truth.

ACTIVISM:
in 2002, Kejriwal started working in slums. Watch this video to see how he helped slum dwellers in getting their rights.  Have  you ever thought about it?

Many of you say that he is ambitious. I do not know any ambitious person who would quit a job in IRS. Go and work in slums.

Are you trying to say that Kejriwal knew the future that after 10 years there will be a large anti-corruption movement for Lokpal. In which govt will not pass the lokpal even after 4 Anshans. And then he will form the government and then become the prime minister of India?

There are two types of things. One is a claim and allegation backed up by some prima facie evidence. Another is complete proof.

For example, when a police arrest someone it only needs a prima facie evidence.

Wht Kejriwal claims is always accompanied with evidences. He cannot bring complete evidences. Because, only government has the machinery to bring out the hard documents.

Whatever claims are made against AAP and Kejriwal was also made against Anna. Manish Tiwari had claimed that Anna is corrupt from top to bottom.

It happens in the politics of this country. Don't talk about removing corruption because you are corrupt too!

Get over it!

How can electricity companies come out clean when the buying price of electricity is .35 paise per unit and they are selling it for 8 rs per unit?

Remember, at Kejriwal's position no claim can be made without substantial facts. This is not the first time that these discom companies have come under radar.

Previous chairman of DERC raised same questions but was transferred later on. And the new chairman happily accepted all the price changes suggested by reliance.

The Audit will only lay down where the money is exactly going. With documented proofs. There is no question of coming "clean". Because that's not possible!

Good question! btw Prashant Bhushan was talking about relocating Kashmiri hindus by bringing peace into Kashmir valley. His purpose was to bring peace into the valley so that Kashmiri pandits can have the confidence to go back!

But an edited line, which was not the focus of the discussion was taken from his tape and then he was attaked upon.

If you don't already know. There are many programmes run by Kashmir's state govt to call Pandits back! But they do not work. Because there is a lack of dialogue. If you really want to bring peace, then education, development is the only way to go! History has proven time and again that guns only leads to dist-ructions.

We must try to avoid that discourse as much as possible. Bring real peace in Kashmir valley. End the alienation of Kashmiri Muslims. once the article 370 is removed. Then Kashmiris pandits will have the courage to go back.

Don't you agree?

Lol!

If you remember, there was little to no coverage of any Aam Aadmi's Jan Sabha before Delhi elections. All the newspaper showed that AAP will not get more than 2-3 seats in elections.

What does it show? Was media working for AAP? NO! It was nt.

After the results, everyone was taken aback by the results. And then the coverage was started because media found a revolution and story. Media wants TRP and Kejriwal and AAP is a kind of movement which is new and unique. And people watch it. Hence, media shows it.

But this will change again since Kejriwal has filed FIR against Ambani, who owns much of the media industry!

Uncultured in what way? Have you ever seen him abusing? Swearing? Using bad words?

If asking questions, working for people is uncultured for you. Then Get well soon!

That was an interim relief. The audit results were to come out and rates would go dip even further.

Even going by the above chart. Its more than what BJP had promised in Delhi in their manifesto! So its better work done and not just talking!

It has been answered several times. After Anna's instructions AAP has not used Anna's poster or name to collect a single penny!

It is a claim made by politicians like Sanjay Nirupam etc. Let us common people don't echo the same lines without checking the facts.

AAP gives details of all its donations and lists it on the website. I am appalled to see that fellow citizens are not asking their favorite party to do the same!

Aam Aadmi wo hai jo sach bolta hai
kisi ke hak ka paisa nahi maarta
chori karke kamayi hui gaadi mai nahi ghoomta

Aam Aadmi wo gareeb insaan bhi hai jo paidal chalta hai
Aur Ameer insaan bhi hai jo mehnat ki kamayi se car khareedta hai...

Definition of aam aadmi is not poor. (Unfortunately it has become so because in our country an honest man is usually poor)

So please get the definition right. There's not much merit in showing yourself poor or hand to mouth. Let's move ahead of symbolic things.

- Sikh riots SIT investigation
- Written to president to allow FIR against Sheila Dixit.
- Re-open CWG case files and other corruption files.
- Start corruption helplines.
- Swaraj law was passed.
- 70 night shelters opened. good facilities provided.
- Allocation of 1 lakh rupees for basic facilities in all govt schools.
- Providing medicines in hospitals.
- Reducing corruption by heaps and bounds.
- Suspending corrupt officers in Jal board.
- Exposing corruption of jal board.
- Exposing lethargic attitude of police  for crime against women.

I do not think any other government really has done so much in a month. Go and take up newspapers of last and read. How things had really changed in Delhi

Other questions worth Noting :

  • Why protecting Somnath bharti for his Spam related issue
Why are you not looking at facts of the case? Somnath has responded saying that emails were not sent with his knowledge.

Balsam, who files cases against "spam"

“He’s going after legitimate companies on questionable claims and he’s able to get settlements on a lot of them just because of the nuisance value,” he said.

“They’re out-of-state companies and they don’t want to fly in to defend the claim.”

Here is the link to complete article

  • Why Somnath was tampering with evidence?
Somnath recorded a sting and CBI suggested to the court that it was tampering with evidence. I do not think that it really was such!

There is a blurred line in this statemnt. Because if Somnath was really doing someothing wrong then he would ve lost membership of bar council which he has nt!
  • Why not showing proof for allegations of corruption and tie-ups against Modi.

When someone is hiding donation sources. And giving undue benefit in return. That's bound to raise questions dear friend. Show your donation sources and no one will raise any question.
  • Are you taking funds from Ford Foundation?
No! It would be illegal to take money from foreign.  There has been several investigations and nothing has ever been found. Please don't bring it again and again when we all know this.

AAP is funded by people. You can know these people on AAPtrends.inhttp://www.aaptrends.in
  • Are you doing Appeasement Politics?
Appeasement politics is when benefit is given to certain section of the society purely on the basis of caste/religion.

AAP has not given benefit to people in Delhi on the basis of caste and religion. AAP is making people aware!  That's not appeasement. That's awareness!
  • Why are you trying to stop Modi from becoming PM
We are trying to stop corruption. Raise corruption issues. If stopping corruption stops Modi, then yes we are stopping him.

Other common allegations

  • Kejriwal and AAP is inexperienced

  • Kejriwal support Khap Panchayats

Can you ban Khap Panchayats? NO! It is against the law to ban any such organization of people.

Yes, but take my word! If Khap Panchayats do something illegal. Kejriwal will be the first person to go all heap n bounds to punish the culprits. Kejriwal has said that before. But there is no comment from Modi or any other politicians yet like this ever!
  • They support Naxal Groups

Naxals are Indians too. They are citizens of this country too! Nobody in AAP or civil society agree with the path naxalites take (violence). But what is wrong when someone advocates that we must hear what Naxals have to say?

Its sad to see that today no discussion comes up on TV or on twitter or facebook about why Naxals have taken this route.

WHY IS IT THAT GOVERNMENT DOES NOT WANT TO LISTEN TO NAXALS?

Watch this interview. Here, they say, government once say we want to talk and then they send army. You cannot take someone into confidence by sending army.
  • Why is Dharna style of politics justified?
A peaceful Dharna to bring issues to highlight is much better than Bharat Bandhs, toll breaks, riots etc. Moral policing.

Nothing about Dharna is unconstitutional. Due to these pressures, police became more aware. Today we all know that Delhi police is ranked TOP in corruption in India. A dharna against such system is 100000000% justified.

Especially if its done in peaceful manner and not harming public property!

MUCH BETTER THAN VIOLENT BANDHS ! BURNING TYRES AND HARMING PUBLIC PROPERTY!

I hope the answers given here quenches your appetite of asking questions!

I hope this article re-kindles the attitude or answering questions raised with facts and logic rather than abuses and swearing

Get well soon friends! Jai hind!

AAP Must get at least 25 crore votes in 2014

How many people will vote for AAP? Here is a prediction. Sure, future is impossible to predict. This approximation is based on statistics of results taken from 2009 and considering other results and observations in the result of recent elections in Delhi,

Taking cues from 2009
Total voters - 71 crores
% voted      - 54% = 38 crores

CONG UPA share  : 37%  15 crore  (out of 38 crores)
NDA BJP share      : 24%   10 crore
Third front               : 21%  8 crore

Changes in 2014

New voters: 8-10 crore new registrations
Total voters: 81 crores
Voting %    : 65% = 52 crores

Information at hand about AAP and some info from Delhi Results

  • AAP has 1 crore members made just in one month.
  • Another important notice that in Delhi None Of The Above (NATO) were only .5 and other states like Rajasthan
  • Congress's vote share in Delhi was reduced to 15% from 40%. And the major share of these votes were gone to AAP. BJP only had a increase of 2 % votes from its last time.

Now the predictions

  • AAP members
1 crore members with average 4 member family = 4 crore votes.

  • Congress voters Votes from Congress's loss (from 37% to 15% at least 50% of this should go to AAP) - 10 crore votes

  • From third front this one is hard to predict and to be conservative in making estimates, let's say 1 crore votes here?

  • New Voters and NATO there are new almost 10 crore new voters voting this time. In Delhi NATO (None of the above option) was less and it is believed that much of this credit goes to AAP. Because people wanted a third option.

Total increase of voters this year: almost 10%, +  4 % NATO +  10% increase in voting percentage = TOTAL 24% people who are new to the voting scene and voting with "change" in mind. Let's also believe that with most modest estimates that out of this 24% only 12% will vote for AAP.

    12% of 81 crores := 10 Crores

Totals:
  • AAP members:                   :  4 crores
  • Congress's share                 :  10 crores
  • Third front                          :   1 crore
  • New Voter and NATO      :   10 crores

Total: 25 crores possible votes for AAP

The problem and concerns:
  • Votes might be distributed
While AAP will definitely be getting a lot of votes. But would it be able to win seats, that's a little difficult. AAP will stand strong in total vote share, but the votes might be distributed.

Yes, it will winning seats, but not a lot unless something changes in next two months. AAP will need to run ads and other campaigns on newspaper, TV, media etc.

So i think AAP will get 25 crore votes!

Dear BJP/Cong this "better third front" will force you to perform! Perform well, or you will loose your voter share! And otherwise your mistakes will make YOU the third front and by your logic all third front should be rooted out of the country!

Which im sure you would not want.

Netaji, Jaag Jao, Aam Aadmi Aa gaya hai!

Competition is a good thing in politics

Modi is without a doubt a good orator. He is able to connect to millions with his speech. He is also wise enough to understand what will connect with the audience and changes his subject accordingly.

There will be a vast difference in what he will speak in Kerala and in West bengal. Another such example was seen when he went to speak in Kolkata this week and gave a very interesting statement:

"Third front ke naam par desh ko teesre grade pe dhakel rahe hai"

So mr Modi ji says : There's third front is RESPONSIBLE for under-developed east.
Few interesting observations:

  • There's no third-front in Chattisgarh. BJP is there, then how come it is under developed?
  • In Punjab no national party makes space. Why is it developed?

Third front is not the issue, third class politics is the real problem and national parties like Cong/BJP are not much better than the bad third front that exist in East today

I am Sorry Mr Modi ji, its not about Third Front. Its about Third Class politics. Yes, too much of communism is wrong. But only because someone is wrong, does not make automatically makes you right. (Or better alternative for that matter)

Those who say there must be only two major political parties please answer this.

Are you suggesting that allow monopolies in politics? Do you even imagine the side effects of such a case?

Remember the days of 1990's when people had no option other than BSNL? Today, BSNL has changed. Know why? Because new entrants are in the market. Even today, BSNLs service sucks but it is MUCH MUCH better than what it was in 90's

Competition is a good thing. Today, because of AAP and other alternatives, congress and BJP are becoming more answerable.

Competition forced the mainstream political parties to take steps "In the lines of AAP"
See.. how BJPians have started doing things similar to AAP, in MCD they have started SMS systems. In Rajasthan Ms Raje declined bungalow. Asked beaurocrats to reduce security.

Everyday in the newspapers we see things like:
  • Congress started building manifesto in the lines of AAP.
  • BJP doing this in the lines of AAP
  • And so on...

I repeat. Yes, without a doubt! Competition is a good thing. Without this third front and independent candidates, the crony capitalist imperialism will then run in its full course.

But you say that third front causes troubles and restricts development.

Sure, i agree that governance is different than telecom, but hey. Can you imagine what will happen if we don't have options when we go out to vote??

We will left in the mercy of the TOP people in both parties. They will put out the candidate they like and not necessarily what people like.

Competition FORCES the players to improve, innovate and be more answerable to the people.

AAP will become a better third front!
AAP will give a true alternative as a third option. Why were people voting for these third front regional parties in first place if Cong/BJP were so good? Because. first these local parties are able to exploit local sentiments.

Like Shiv Sena does in Maharashtra with taking up Marathi maanus issue.

Second, these parties targeted a niche with specific propositions.

AAP will be seriously taking away the third front as the problem with third front is that they are always limited to particular sect or area.

WHO  does AAP appeals to (voterbase?)
Even the AAP critics will agree that AAP has the more versatile voter base. Which is beautiful to see in Indian democracy which has always been stuck with votebank politics!

  • In Delhi Muslims voted for AAP
  • Sikhs voted for AAP.
  • Poor people living in slums voted for AAP
  • AAP won in rich constituencies.
  • People from all castes, OBC, ST, SC voted for AAP.
AAP is a movement which is unifying the nation. Other parties can only be symbolic in doing Sadbhawna fasts etc, but in all the election results it is evident that BJP and Congress are restricted their traditional voter bank and unable to make inroads.

While Congress is getting a major loss, BJP will face tough competition. And this will make BJP more answerable to the people. Today, open any page of BJP twitter accounts, they are talking only about AAP. They are comparing their work with AAP.

This AAP is bringing BJP on its toes. Even if AAP does not win more seats. The benefit will be MUCH larger because, AAP is here to change and improve politics not to grab the seats.

Competition is a good thing.
Not the perfect thing in government, because too much competition and opposition restricts innovation. But it also does check balances.

It restricts the monopoly and stops major players to take unfair advantage of their power!

AAP - the "Apple" of Indian politics - Inexperienced but not incapable!

AAP and Apple, is it just a co-incidence that they both sound similar?

Your vote is like an investment. Investing your trust in the politician that he will bring good results for you.

Let's see World's best investor Warren Buffet has to say about what to look for before hiring anyone!

“Somebody once said that in looking for people to hire, you look for three qualities: integrity, intelligence, and energy. And if you don’t have the first, the other two will kill you."― Warren Buffett

I will vote for a politician THAT WILL HAVE >>
  • Integrity,
  • Intelligence
  • Energy

Without the first. the other two will kill you. I will not hire a politician who does not have integrity.
Inexperience is not a bad thing, this inexperience is better than stale experience of theft and robbery!

Yes, AAP is inexperienced, but does that make them any less deserving?

Inexperience is not always a bad thing. IIM grads get best jobs in the world, not because of their experience but because of their knowledge and capability. And their ability to innovate and bring fresh changes in any organization.

Most members of AAP are highly educated, experts of their fields. They may not be hundred percent honest but way better option than 30% BJP candidates who have cases running against them.

Being new is not a weakness
AAP's strength lies in inexperience. They don't have set standards. So they can have out of the box thinking.

They are ready to innovate and bring new and fresh ideas to the table.

Yes, there will be mistakes. But if you need revolution you will have to bring inexperienced people who have clear intent and work on feedback! Much Much better than experienced looters from BJP and Congress.

There's always a benefit to start from start rather than re-organizing  an orthodox system which Congress and BJP suffer from.

And that's where Cong and BJP will never get ahead of AAP. AAP is new. And that's the advantage AAP has.

The major difference between AAP and BJP/Cong is that AAP says, we are not experts for everything! Hence, we will consult experts and take steps accordingly.

BJP and Congress on the other hand, talk of experience. Experience of what? Making policies in closed doors and not listening to people?

Why i will hire these inexperienced people to run my country:

  • Inexperience means innovation!
  • Inexperience, also means new ideas on the table!
  • Inexperience, does not mean incapability. We see freshers doing better in every aspect in our societies.

  • This Inexperience  >> is better than experience of >> how to run a nexus of crony capitalism!
  • Inexperience in setting up connections with capitalists, get DONATIONS (undeclared sources) from them and in return give them undeserving subsidies. (in name of development)
  • Inexperience of conducting riots?

The Apple of Indian politics:
AAP is like what the Apple of Indian Democracy. Innovating and building ever evolving systems. Every system that is for the general public be it  a consumer company like Apple or

Stripping down useless stuff. And improving the citizen experience by the way of Swaraj.

  • I will vote for such inexperienced people.
  • Because i can' vote for experienced thieves.
  • I would rather vote for bright, educated, politicians.
  • I will vote for young politicians with clean intent who talks about participation, rather than policy making in close doors.

My vote goes for AAP, and what about you?

THE RSS GAME PLAN -written by Subramanyam Swamy

OPINION

The RSS game plan

A disillusioned and dispirited RSS has set the ball rolling for mid-term general elections in which it hopes that the BJP will gain an absolute majority and implement the Hindutva agenda.
SUBRAMANIAN SWAMY
THE situation in India today is characterised and manifested by creeping fascism. Never before in our history have we been confronted by such an almost invisible phenomenon. India has seen a crawling imperialism (1750-1947) when foreign traders turned me rcenary protectors, and then slowly became our masters. But that process took a century to consummate and another century to unwind. The Indian people have also experienced the Emergency (1975-77) that came upon the land in a flash and went out much the same way. Nevertheless we had got a taste of dictatorship of the modern state in that short period. We had felt it, hated it, but then the nation also revolted against it.
Today the creeping fascism of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is coming upon us not as gradually as imperialism did, nor as suddenly as did the Emergency. Its spread is being calibrated adroitly by seven faceless men of the RSS, the RSS "high comma nd". We barely feel it. Some yesteryear civil libertyites such as Arun Shourie have been co-opted. Others are being wooed or chased.
But the RSS leaders are now in their late seventies, some not at all in good health, and so in a mood of frustration. Their glide to a total capture of Delhi's gaddi (throne) has been interrupted and put on 'hold'. Symbolically, the bhagwa dhwaj (saffron double triangle flag) does not yet flutter from the Red Fort; but the hated tricolour which no RSS office can hoist even on August 15, still does. The climb to total power is up a slippery slope. Having come so close, the RSS could lose it all in a sudden throw of the electoral dice. That is the frustration; so close yet so far. Last April, my tea party nearly put their goal out of reach. It was a close call.
So the RSS warhorses recently have chalked out a game plan: the "Final Solution". The Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and the National Agenda for Governance, they concluded, cannot go on forever. It must be ended at some poi nt. Otherwise the danger is that the RSS may.
Between the 1998 and 1999 general elections, the BJP had for the first time in 15 years and after six general elections, hit a plateau in Lok Sabha seats won. Its tally was stuck at 182 seats. The tally of its "allied parties" - which do not believe in H indutva - rose in terms of numbers (18 to 24), as well in terms of seats won (80 to 120). This rang alarm bells in the RSS. For an organisation that has been banned three times in 15 years, the 1999 election results naturally, justifiably, caused neurosi s in the RSS. Under the compulsions of the coalition calculus, they have had to dilute their goals for the rewards of office. It was a trade-off: a BJP Prime Minister meant acquiring national and international legitimacy they never had before. It also me ant a conspiracy of silence of the intellectuals in the creeping advance of their Hindutva goals.
But then there is a downside to that trade-off: the RSS cadre is disillusioned and disspirited with the compromises and the stunting. India is nowhere the Hindu Rashtra that the high command had been promising, and on which they had been weaned and brain -washed. The cadres' patience is now wearing thin. They want to strike out on their own even at the cost of losing power. I have seen this mindset before. Between 1977 and 1980, in the undivided Janata Party, I had witnessed the agony in the cadre. At th at time the same trade-offs were pointed out to the disgruntled rank and file by the high command. But the welling of sentiment could not be capped. The seven (younger men then) had therefore to act. They had to abandon the compromises in order to keep t he Janata unity. They thus allowed the government to fall, and then went on their own to form the BJP.
The current situation for the RSS is also characterised by the same paradigm. The RSS has, according to reliable sources, made up its mind that the NDA has taken its cause about as far as it could. The trade-off is no more worth it. Therefore the groundw ork has to be laid clandestinely and in small doses for achieving an absolute majority for the BJP. In other words, in the not-too-distant future, I believe the RSS will call for a mid-term poll when it feels that the ground has been prepared. The RSS ju ggernaut is thus on the move, and the groundwork is already there for the discerning to see. For this to fructify, the RSS has drawn up a game plan which has three components.
PARAS SHAH
At an RSS drill.
THE first component of the game plan is to discredit the RSS' opponents but protect its converts. The First Information Report in the Bofors case is a classic instance of this strategem. In that FIR, Rajiv Gandhi's name figures in the list of accused (n ever mind the column). But those Cabinet Ministers who vetted and signed the deal, or had even held secret negotiations on the "financial parameters" with the Bofors company as representatives of Rajiv Gandhi, are prosecution witnesses. Naturally we can guess what they will say in the witness box. Then there is the case of Arun Nehru, whose hand has been in every cookie jar of every deal of that period. He is our swadeshi Quattrocchi, but then he has now bathed in the Ganga jal of the BJP. He too is a witness, not an accused. The motto is: "Join us and be free. Resist us and see you in court." By a series of such sham prosecutions and managed associate media leaks, the RSS expects to undermine the democratic Opposition in India. They hope to tak e full advantage of the factions of democratic parties as they did with the Janata Dal recently.
The second component of the RSS game plan is to shake public confidence in every institution that can circumscribe or act as a speed-breaker for the RSS juggernaut. The Law Minister has already initiated moves to emasculate the Supreme Court via the judi cial commission and by threatening political monitoring of judicial ethics. Just in case his ilk got too rebellious, he has threatened to amend the law (through an ordinance) to permit foreign lawyers to practise in Indian courts. Briefless Jaffna lawyer s are waiting to fill the vacuum.
The Human Resource Development (HRD) Minister has elevated an RSS activist to the post of a selector of teachers in the National Council for Educational Research and Training, a person who defends his credentials of valour by recording that he once had s hot dead a young Muslim girl to protect her honour and to end her misery while she was being gang-raped by Hindu youth during Partition. That, of course, is Hindutva justice: that is, the minorities can best look forward to liberation through mercy killi ng.
Christians are being targeted by the front organisations of the RSS in order to terrorise and ghetto-ise all minorities. Since Osama bin Laden is stalking the Hindustan peninsula with his millions of dollars and narcotics, for the wily and cautious RSS. Christians are an easy target because there are no Christian terrorists to retaliate. As the period of the Emergency clearly demonstrated, the RSS is astute enough to know when to hunt with the hounds and when to run with the hares. They are smarter than the German fascists in this respect.
The third component of the RSS game plan is to ready the blueprints for implementing the agenda. Of course they cannot implement it in the present Parliament, but it will be their USP (unique selling proposition) for the mid-term poll. They have already scripted the new history texts; they have sent into circulation amongst the faithful how the new Constitution of India should be structured.
ACCORDING to a draft circulated at the 1998 October conference of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), an RSS front organisation, the following measures are planned: The present bicameral Parliament would be replaced by a three-tier structure. At the apex will be a Guru Sabha of sadhus and sanyasis (read VHP activists) nominated by the President who is elected by a Lok Sabha constituted on a limited electoral college of primary and secondary school teachers, the rolls of which will be prepared by the HRD Ministry and not the Election Commission. All legislation and money bills will have to originate in the Guru Sabha and be passed by it before being sent to the Lok Sabha. The Guru Sabha will also be the judicial commission to nominate Supreme Court Judges, and impeach them. In between the Guru Sabha and the Lok Sabha, there will be a Raksha Sabha of serving armed forces chiefs and retired soldiers who can decide when to declare an Emergency. India would be, it seems, converted into a state w hich is a cross between the Taliban and the Vatican. It is for this scheme that they will seek a mandate in a mid-term poll.
The RSS game plan also has proposals to bridle the electoral system. Adult suffrage is out, but furthermore, the electoral college for the Lok Sabha will not vote for candidates, but for parties under a List System. Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) will be used in all the constituencies. Perhaps it is then easier to rig the outcome. After all, in the 1999 general elections, the BJP and its allies won 34 out of the 45 Lok Sabha constituencies which had EVMs. On that ratio, the NDA should have won 405 se ats of the 544 Lok Sabha constituencies and not 292. EVMs have to be programmed by an engineer to tabulate the votes in its memory. It can easily be programmed to transfer votes of one candidate to another, or one party to another. The EVMs are entirely unsafeguarded today. I suspect it was rigged in the 1999 general elections.
The RSS game plan is thus ready. Only the D-Day for the blitzkrieg is to be determined. Since it appears that the RSS has already been generating momentum on religious fundamentalist issues (for example, Gujarat's Ram temple) and raised the fanatical emo tional temperature (chasing of Christian missionaries), my guess is that this campaign will be taken to a fever pitch by November 9, 2001 (the 1986 date for shilanyas) and then mid-term elections will be called.
Prime Minister Vajpayee will as usual waffle and wobble, but he will not resist. That is his nature; he is a mask for the RSS, as Commissar Govindacharya had once said.
Of course, the good news is that the game plan can fail. I live on the hope that in India, no well-laid plan ever works. India, after all, is a functioning anarchy. That has been the undoing of every attempt to straitjacket its society. That is why we ar e still the longest continuing unbroken civilisation of over 10,000 years. The RSS is, luckily, our counter-culture. The vibrations of Mother India will, I hope, be its undoing.
Dr. Subramanian Swamy is a former Union Law Minister who is now president of the Janata Party.
